the last good thing about this part of town...

usually when i have time off it means having to drive my mom around to places.

one of our stops was to old town. like the name states, it's filled with lots of old buildings. i love it down there, it's like a different world. these photos are from another time i went there but didn't upload them till now: the shop on the left is where we went to today. it's a jewelry store where my mom gets her watch batteries changed, it's cheapest there.

there's a wooden windmill and water barrel thing out in the front. that day at one of the inns there were a bunch of guys and classic cars outside. man those cars were amazing. my dream car has always been an old-school classic type car. i just think they're so pretty and so unique. i wish i could have taken better pictures of the cars there but there was a lot of dudes near them and so i did get too close.

i was able to get a decent photo of this one car though. come on, how awesome is that?

there were some paintings outside one of the shops leaning against a wooden cart thing.

lots of the buildings are made of wood, a lot of them looked like this one.

this sign was outside of a candy store. it said: don't be fooled. this store is huge and much more than *candy* come in a see for yourself. we're friendly. i did not go in but i thought the sign was cute. maybe next time.

and before we left i spotted this coming down the road:

it reminds me of bella's truck...but a lot nicer looking.

we only made one stop today so there wasn't any new pictures to take since we didn't walk around. but like i said i really like it down there. one day i need to just explore what else is there. i bet there are a bunch of cute little shops. i know they have a bunch of restaurants. i need to check them out too.

anyway, another stop we made today was one i wanted to go to:

pinkberry!!! it was a pretty warm day. it was perfect weather for yummy-yummy pinkberry.original with fuirty pebbles. so yummy. so good.so sad, it's almost gone. i guess seeing them eating it on gossip girl monday night made me really want some. just looking at these photos makes me want more.
