i woke up to find "the jo-r mobile" covered in a thin sheet of ice. i could see every breath i took. and instead of the regular morning dew on the grass, today it was sprinkled with ice. at least the rain has stopped. it's been so cold lately, mostly in the morning and at night (the inbetween i can handle). i'm just glad my room has a heater. i don't know how i could function without it. geez, this isn't even cold cold, it's california cold. maybe it's a good thing i don't live where it snows. how would i ever make it?i'm thinking i should pick up a pair of mittens or gloves sometime this weekend for when i drive to work. it's always so cold out at that time and the steering wheel tends to feel like i'm holding onto ice. i kind of want a pair of fingerless gloves or as i like to call them, "homeless people gloves." as lame as it might sound ever since i saw benji and joel rock them back during my high school days, i've wanted them. but who wears gloves in hawaii, right? maybe i'll get the convertible ones that covent into mittens. who knows.
i wonder how long the cold will last.
