i have been switching off between
all time low and
3!oh3 for the last couple weeks (maybe even months) now. can you say
"overload"? so, i figured i need something else to listen to. i reached into my stack of cds and decided to pop in
over it's silverstrand cd on the way to work today. i haven't listened to that cd in such a long time. the most recent times i've listen to over it, i usually end up listening to
step outside yourside since it was the lastest cd they have out.

oh man, how could i forget how much i love, love, love
silverstrand? not only do i love the songs but hearing them makes me think of good times. ah, it's just so good. it reminds me why i love them so much. i
love runner runner and everything but they're not the same. i mean first off, peter is the singer of over it, not ryan. don't get me wrong, ryan is an awesome singer. but i don't know, it's just different. though it seems like over it isn't over (haha, excuse the pun) it's not the same band that i knew. i mean when they started they were 4 boys from virginia. now, i guess they're five guys from so-cal. and seth isn't in the band anymore (though jon seems pretty cool). and i miss him. he really was awesome. i hope wherever he is, he's doing wonderfully.

so, maybe over it is just taking a backseat to runner runner as of now (since they are the same members). or maybe over it may never put out another cd. i'm just glad the guys are still making good music and doing what they love. they are still a bunch great guys. i mean like everything in life, things change. so why should it be any different with bands and music.
at any cost, the songs still hold memories and still make me smile.
"...and if you ever get lonely, you just go to the record store and visit all your friends." - penny lane, almost famous
i remember the first time i drove on the 101 and how excited i was. i just wish i could have had this song playing at the time because i'm a dork like that.
till later.
